Yah, we have some pre-season events to get excited about. I will post more details regarding timetables and location when they become available, until then pop the date in your calendar and get ready for some track and field action before the official season begins.
We’re excited to announce the events being offered over the next four meets as we welcome back Track and Field to the state of Queensland.
Please be aware that if you wish to compete in any field events there will be limited spaces so book early to avoid disappointment. The link to register for this event is at the bottom of this post.
To compete, all you need to do is be a currently registered athlete with QLD Athletics and be 12 years of age or older (or turning 12 in 2021)
All meets will take place at QSAC. Entry portals will open over the coming weeks as we work on final timetables and potential athlete numbers.
On offer in meet 1 will be Hammer throw, pole vault and 3000m walk.

6.00pm 3000m walk female
6.00pm mixed pole vault
6.00pm mixed hammer throw section 1
6.30pm 3000m walk male
7.30pm mixed hammer throw section 2

The event is open to all athletes born 2009 and older.
Competition entry is a one off fee of $25
There will be no late entries for this event.
There will be limited numbers in the field events available. There will be 20 places in the Pole Vault as we as 20 places in both the 6:00pm and 7:30pm Hammer Throw.
Hammer throw athletes will be limited to three (3) attempts each
Event entries will close midnight Sunday night September 20th as this will give us plenty of time to make any changes to our COVID safe plan if numbers are large.
